Yup, I'm still alive. I lurk around here but I don't write much. I'm over at Tumblr sometimes though.
1. I'm in school nowadays, studying administration. The plan is to find work in the spring. *crosses fingers*
2. We have a lot of snow, it's cold and dark and I long for summer.
3. A neighbor found a cat just before Christmas and I'm taking care of it until the owners are found or someone wants him permanently (I have an agreement with the animal rescue people in town).
14. I've lost about 62 Ibs now, since my gastric bypass (Nov. 2011). I'm very thankful for that but I'm a bit frustrated too because I want to lose about 55 more and I've been stuck on a weight loss plateau for a couple of months. On the other hand, I don't exercise and if I start doing that I'll probably start losing some again. I'm a bit lazy though. ;-)
Today it's been two weeks since my gastric bypass. Everything's ok so far. I've started eating again and I've set the alarm on my cell phone because I forget to eat otherwise. I have to eat every two hours and it feels like I have something in my mouth all the time. xD
Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't been the happiest person and haven't felt like posting anything. I have some news though. I've been work training for a year and I'm now employed "for reelz" (ish). The last time I was employed was in my teens during the summers. It's only for six months though and I'm still sort of work training. I work 22 hours a week and the goal is to work 30 hours at the end of March. After that I'm not sure what will happen. I've really enjoyed working here (as a secretary at my local sports club) but I'm starting to worry about the future again and I suddenly feel anxious about coming here. I hope it'll pass. *sighs*
Something I'm looking forward to though, is the Gastric Bypass surgery I'm scheduled for in November. I've been overweight for the last 14-15 years and I've really been struggling to lose weight but it hasn't worked so I decided to ask for help. I have about 110 lbs to lose (I kid you not) and I'm really looking forward to getting back into shape.
